BLACKWATER CREEK LODGE & GUEST RANCH REVIVED FOR 2025 SEASON

CODY, Wyo. (Nov. 21, 2024) – The historic Blackwater Creek Lodge & Guest Ranch outside Cody will open its 2025 season revived for the next generation of guests. True Ranch Collection operated the ranch in a pop-up format during summer 2024 and will continue operations as it officially becomes the newest property in the Collection, after purchasing the ranch last year. Reservations are now being accepted for three- and six-night stays from May 25 through Sept. 27, 2025. Discover Wyoming’s natural beauty and America’s first protected landscapes – Yellowstone National Park and the Shoshone National Forest – from the comfort of the ranch. “With our first season under our belt at Blackwater Creek Ranch, we’re looking forward to welcoming guests back in 2025 and beyond,” said Jaye Wells, managing partner of True Ranch Collection. “We’ve made improvements to the property, updated the ranch’s styling and fine-tuned the experiences we offer. Join us for a summer of classic dude ranch adventures in America’s first national forest and first national park.”

Since 1915, Blackwater Creek Ranch has hosted guests from around the world amid the mountains of the Shoshone National Forest, just minutes from Yellowstone National Park’s East Entrance. Theodore Roosevelt once described the area as “the most scenic 50 miles in the U.S.”

Nestled in a grove of tall trees where Blackwater Creek flows into the Shoshone River, the ranch’s expansive Lodge, log cabins and Ranch House accommodate up to 35 guests at a time. The cabins, built between 1915 and 1950, are now furnished with cozy bedding, Navajo rugs and western appointments.

Activities include horseback riding and hiking amid open meadows, forested hills and mountainous terrain, archery and sport shooting in a safe and fun environment, fly fishing the murmuring waters of Blackwater Creek and the Shoshone River, as well as off-ranch excursions like whitewater rafting, visits to the cowboy town of Cody and the Cody Nite Rodeo, and touring the spectacular landscapes of Yellowstone National Park.

Meals offer a taste of Wyoming with locally inspired dishes and traditional ranch recipes, from cocktails and dinners in the Lodge to lunches on the trail.

All-inclusive stays at Blackwater Creek Lodge & Guest Ranch are available for three nights from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday, and six nights from Sunday to Saturday. Three-night stays start at $1,545 per person based on double occupancy and six-night stays start at $2,790 per person based on double occupancy. They include accommodations, meals, ranch activities and amenities, and off-ranch excursions.
