JOB DESCRIPTION:

The True Ranch Collection is looking for a year-round Chef for multiple historic guest ranches. Our ranches host a maximum of about 30-60 guests at a time, depending on the ranch. This position has the potential to work at multiple locations within our collection throughout the year depending on seasonality and need. This position will start at one of our ranches in Southern Arizona with potential to move to a ranch in Montana or a Pop-Up Ranch location throughout the year.

Must have reliable transportation. Room and board included in compensation.

Duties include:

-Manage kitchen staff

-Food and supply ordering

-Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner

-Create weekly menus

-Accommodate special dietary needs of our guests

True Ranch Services is looking for On-Site Dude Ranch Manager(s) to assist with all aspects of the daily operations of the guest ranches that are a part of the True Ranch Collection. This position has the opportunity to work at any True Ranch Collection property, which currently includes ranches in Arizona and Montana; as well as our Pop-Up Ranch locations.

Reservations, payroll and other administrative roles are managed off-site by our central headquarters in Tucson, so the Ranch Manager role is a hospitality position on ranch to manage guest relations, staff and dude ranch hospitality operations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

-Checking in and checking out new guests

-Supervising ranch employees and determining which staff members will lead activities

-Supervising kitchen and housekeeping staff

-Overseeing and assisting with daily tasks

-Determining guest activity schedule

-Leading or overseeing ranch activities when appropriate or necessary

-Helping to maintain record of ranch expenses in conjunction with True Ranch Services’ bookkeeper.

-Assisting with housekeeping when necessary (high-volume turnovers)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Well-organized

-Office management experience

-Computer skills including Excel. Some bookkeeping knowledge a plus.

-Experience in hospitality a plus.

-Cooking skills a plus.

-Ranch, or specifically guest ranch, experience a plus.

-Horse experience a plus, but not required

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The True Ranch Collection is looking for experienced and qualified Wranglers to join our teams for the winter seasons in Arizona. Ample horse experience and riding skills are required. Applicants must be hard working with good people skills.

We’re looking for individuals available to work beginning in mid-to late September in anticipation of our winter Arizona seasons. 

Consideration for this position may be for Rancho de la Osa (Sasabe, AZ), Kay El Bar Guest Ranch (Wickenburg, AZ) or Tombstone Monument Ranch (Tombstone, AZ).

Positions have the ability to work year-round in Arizona or move onto a northern ranch during the summer season. 

Duties Include but are not limited to:

-Leading or dragging ranch trail rides

-Ensure safety of guests and livestock on guided trail rides

-Feeding, grooming and tacking horses

-Clean up of corral area and stalls

-Ability to adjust to short-notice changes

We’re looking for individuals immediately available to work through the end of our summer season at the Circle Bar Guest Ranch in Montana.  This position has potential to continue on as a part of our team for the winter season at at Kay El Bar Guest Ranch in Wickenburg, Arizona.

Immediate start date available at Circle Bar Ranch and will run approximately through October.

We’re looking for hardworking new members of our housekeeping staff to help with cleaning guest rooms and common areas; and assist in the kitchen and with serving meals. We are a small staff looking for someone who will be a team player and able to step in where needed.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

-Cleaning and servicing guest rooms

-Vacuuming, dusting, cleaning

-Cleaning of common areas (lodge, office, pool/hot tub area)

-Laundry and maintenance of laundry room

-Preparation of dining areas for meals

-Meal Service and clearing tables after meals

-Assist with meal prep as needed

-Wash dishes as needed

We’re looking for individuals immediately available to work as a bartender/server at Tombstone Monument Ranch & Cattle Co—an upscale, family-oriented guest ranch. We are looking for an outgoing, personal individual available for bar shifts and to help with meal service.

-Bar tending duties and service in our 1880s style western Saloon

JOB DESCRIPTION

True Ranch Services is looking for a Ranch Maintenance Superintendent to facilitate maintenance, landscaping and repair of ranch property at the historic Rancho de la Osa Guest Ranch. This job has the opportunity to work at our other True Ranch Collection properties on an as-needed basis. Day-to-day maintenance, plus tasks related to planned renovation of the ranch will be included in this position.

General maintenance skills required, including but not limited to:

-drywalling

-minor electrical

-plumbing

-painting

-carpentry repairs

The right candidate will be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and problems and have their own transportation and tools.

Housing available. $20 per hour plus lodging.

TYPE OF WORK: Seasonal

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The True Ranch Collection is looking for an experienced fishing and shooting guide for seasonal work at our Montana guest ranch, the Circle Bar Ranch (Utica, MT). This team member will manage the rifle range and all fishing activities on the ranch. This position could have the opportunity to continue year-round as an Activities Guide at one of our Arizona dude ranches; however it is not a requirement for employment seasonally at the Circle Bar.

The Circle Bar is located in the heart of Charlie Russell Country in Central Montana, about an hour and a half from Great Falls. Our dude ranch guests have access to many activities during their stay including horseback riding, sport shooting, UTV Tours, hiking, fly fishing and more.

FLY FISHING MANAGER

-Teach fly fishing fundamentals to guests (ages and experience levels will vary) within the regulations of the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Dept.

-Lead fishing excursions on and off ranch property

SPORT SHOOTING MANAGER

-Instruct guests how to safely operate 20-guage and 12-guage shotguns, .22 long rifles and bows for archery

-Maintain shooting range and keep inventory of supplies

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

-Assist in other ranch activity assignments including but not limited to: fat tire bike tours, hiking, archery

-Emphasize safety and thorough instruction during all guest activities

-Perform administrative activities relative to each activity

-Maintain Trading Post (outdoor equipment storage) appearance, equipment and supplies

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Extensive experience with fly fishing, tackle and techniques

-Ability to instruct guests in a safe and professional manner

-Remain calm under pressure and have the ability to adjust efficiently to last-minute changes

-Valid driver’s license

-Montana Guide License (True Ranch Service will arrange for the right applicant to have a Montana Guide License through our relationship with a licensed Montana outfitter)

JOB DESCRIPTION

True Ranch Services is looking for a Ranch Project Manager to oversee and manage major renovation at the historic Rancho de la Osa in Sasabe, Arizona. This position has the potential to be seasonal work or continue in the form of long-standing employment overseeing maintenance, construction and renovation projects at all of our dude ranch properties in Arizona and Montana.

Duties include but are not limited to:

-Supervising all construction and renovation projects to take place over the summer of 2022.

-Schedule and oversee daily operations as part of ranch maintenance and renovation

-Assist with hiring of labor/tradesmen for renovation projects

-Acquire necessary materials when needed, labor and equipment for renovation

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-General contractor skills required

-Management/supervisory experience in a similar position

-Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical codes

-Personal transportation required. The ranch is 1.5 hours from Tucson.
